用“来自天际最美丽最温暖的声音”来形容Yolanda Adams真是再恰当不过了！这位成功横跨并虏获福音、灵魂、节奏蓝调、流行等多界听众的Yolanda，1987年顺利得到一纸唱片合约后，于90年正式推出首张作品《Just As I Am》，接着91年的《Through The Storm》及93年的《Save The World》就开始了她接踵而来奖项加身的耀眼战绩！95年的《More The A Melody》不但成功跨进节奏蓝调领域，更获颁灵魂列车奖项之最佳灵魂女艺人。 1988年就出道的她，在美国早已视为是最具实力的新生代福音女歌手。96年是Yolanda声名大噪的一年，首先她的「Yolanda Live in Washington」专辑被提年该年葛莱美奖最佳福音女歌手，之后福音乐界首屈一指的乐团Kirk Franklin & the Family也邀请Yolanda参加他们的全美巡回演唱，于是顺利打开Yolanda在美国的知名度。99年，Yolanda与ELEKTRA签约发行首张跨足流行乐界的专辑「福至心灵」（Mountain High，Valley Low）不但称后福音榜榜首，还成功打入流行榜Top30，销售大破百万，也顺利为Yolanda夺下生平第一座葛莱美奖，单曲粅pen My Heart荍韟雩`奏蓝调榜前十名的优异表现。 在2003年的电影《The Sum Of All Fears》中Yolanda Adams演唱了影片的主题歌If We Could Remember，，这首歌由Can't Fight The Moonlight的制作人Trevor Horn改编自Jerry Goldsmith打造的主题音乐，成为一首拥抱希望的灵性小品。
