The brainchild of composer, arranger, producer Joseph Baldassare, “Living Theater” remains the first ever, living compilation. By living, we mean, that all the songs comprising the “Living Theater” series are either written or arranged by Joseph Baldassare, not extracted from existing works and merely compiled. New York native, Joseph Baldassare, while living in Greece became aware of the abundance of DJ compiled CD’s in the market and conceptualized a compilation that would embrace all the musical styles and languages that he had encountered. He would write a global landscape of music and then proceed to find undiscovered talent from around the world to guest in their native languages and musical styles and release it on his custom label Kunduru Music.. The songs from the Living Theater series have all found themselves on either various compilations, TV programs (CSI Miami, Love Monkey) TV networks (CBS,BBC, PBS & ESPN) or Independent films such as “De Ma Fentre, Sans Maison” by Canadian film director Maryanne Ziehil and Lou Ye’s “Summer Palace”.
